N8 2010

September 29th, 2010

We are going to play at museumn8 2010 Amsterdam and we’re doing so at Arcam
It will be a special one at that. In collaboration with Unknown User we will perform an innovative live set featuring visuals in coherence to the night’s theme: Music, Space & Architecture. Can’t say to much about it yet, but it will be nothing less than bold!

So we are expecting you November 6th 2010.

SCB tribute

September 28th, 2010

Next to the release of a new album the band Scram C Baby asked several artists to cover one of their songs. This got a little out of hand and hence formed a full length tribute album, containing nothing other than covers. These are given away for free by 3VOOR12 on a day by day basis.

We remixed ‘Kill The Lesbian Underground’ from the 2003 ‘Love Is Not Enough’ album. Listen and download right here:

Special gig @ CS A’dam

May 28th, 2010

For the last 10 years Rocket Cinema has been organising film/music events in Amsterdam. Maintaining the formula: “old films new music” they ask performers to make their own and unique soundtrack for old and/or classic movies. For the upcoming edition during Nuit Blanche we are invited to make a new soundtrack for the 1967 crime film ROBBERY by Peter Yates.
In short 30 min sets several movies will have new soundtracks added to them, performed by DJ Scurio, Celeste, JP, Dirk Diggler, Celine Cairo, Bird on the Wire, DVJ Luxxx, Quartier Mustach and of course Buchner & d’Arles. They all have one thing in common; all movies involve trains. Therefore the unique location of this event will be the old waiting room of Amsterdam Central Station.
